How to Open and Export Files in Android Studio?
- Open Android Studio.
- From the Menu, select File, New, and then Project.
- In the pop-up window, select the location of the file, (where the source code is hosted).
- Enter the URL or file path of the source code directory in the provided field.
- Pick code version you want to Open.
- Android Studio will open the source code from the directory and import it into a new project.
- Once the source code is imported, feel free to browse the code and make any necessary changes according to your needs.
- To export the code, click on File and then "Export to Zip File" from the main menu to save it as a backup incase you lose your edited code.
- In the "Export Project" window that appears, select the desired location to save the exported file, give it a name, and click OK.
- Android Studio will create a zip file with source code and Save it to the safe location as you want.
